Wiring for Edcor GXSE15 for SSE

Good afternoon, trying to get my SSE fired up after a year hiatus. Can anyone give a noob some assistance in how to wire up my GXSE15 output transformers to the board and speaker jacks? Not using cathode feedback, any help would be greatly appreciated!!-Alex

Are you doing Triode or UL on the power tubes?

Using Triode mode, might add in a switch for UL after I get some sound out of it.

Going to go back through and double check everything today, tubes are glowing but not getting any sound out of it as of now.

The wiring diagram on the tubelab is a little vague (to me, I’m sure if you know what you are doing it makes sense) for the output transformers, so figured I would start there. It’s been fun, think I’ve at least learned a little, ready to hear this thing!

No.....leave it open..that would bypass/short the choke.....


You typically either use R1 or a choke..

Got it, thanks. Pulled the amp apart and dug through the forums. I missed the jumpers on the D3&D4, it’s fired up and playing music, sounds really good! Thank you for your help, much appreciated. Another SSE has been birthed!
