my first receiver was an Altec 710. I read somewhere on the internet that they were made by Hitachi. the 710 had a very distinct rear panel and i have seen a photo of a Hitachi that looked very similar to the Altec

Now about that Kawasaki amplifier....isn't that just a rebranded Yamaha?
