Auditory Brainstem Response

Just stumbled across some research new to me - Music Auditory Brainstem Response. Maybe someday instead of using ABX testing to verify if someone can hear something, we could attach electrodes to their scalp and look for evidence there. Specifically, ABR is sometimes used for auditory threshold estimation.

Yeah it's interesting stuff, for sure. I contacted the researchers last year looking for some more info, didn't get much except "Look at our website."

If only the S/N ratio weren't so high, it could answer a lot of questions.
