Hypex UCD2K and MiniDSP for high power Sub application - Gain Control

I am looking for suggestions on applying the Hypex UCD2K together with a MiniDSP HD kit for my subwoofer. I am currently using the Hypex FA501 plate amplifier, rated at 500W RMS into 4 ohm, but it is barely moving the Peerless STW 350 sub, I need more power to get this beast moving!

Something's wrong if it's barely moving. 200W should be getting you around 108dB at 50hz, with a little rolloff below that depending on tuning. Is it perhaps that you don't have enough voltage feeding the amp?

That hypex should drive the peerless easily. Issue with powering the unit, settings, or wiring of the dual coils?

hope you aren't trying to see the 45mm excursion capabilities of that driver
