Got these Altec cabs and drivers more than is months ago. I started to build today.

Here is the bracing I got done today. I used pine blocks glued to the sides with Gorilla glue and 1/2 inch threaded rod. I'm just doing it side to side. The front is stiffened by the woofer and I'll glue/screw ribs in the back on the outside.

The blue tape is a damn which I filled with Gorilla glue to keep them from rattling together.

The baffle has a recessed round for a tweeter and the diameter of that is the same size as a round for a hole cutter. Those plugs are glued and screwed in place.

Which driver?

+1 on the drill press, yours? If so, what do you normally use it for?

I'm using the Dayton RSS390HF. Yes, its mine. I've been a large metal sculpture for 30 years as well as an audio nut.

I bought a Berhinger iNuke 3000dsp to power the two subs.
