Single chip amps

I'm going to be building some 6-channel amps for a audio distribution system in my new home. I'm thinking that using some chip amps would be the best way to go. It's been a few years since I've looked into them and have played with the LM3886 and LM12. Any recommendations on what is out there now?

I'm looking for about 50W into 8Ohms.

Hi Kelly,

Here is a link to another board that's based around maxing out the sonic performance of these chips. Gaincard type gainclones are a specialty.
