I have changed 2 of the 3 Koshin original caps for some Panasonic low ESR caps, I would of changed all 3 but didn't have a Panasonic 10uF spare.
The ones I changed are a 100uF 16v to 100uF 25v and 1000uf 16v to the same value. Both from 85° to 105°.
I did this as I'm about to recap my older CD player and need practice. I have heard the Panasonics are good in the PSU section so thought I would see if those two made any difference.
Not much difference straight away, expected, slightly better on clarity yet will see after break in and a better time to give it a good blast before doing anymore in this amp.
Listening to Florence and the Machine atm and seems clearer than previously as it goes on with slightly better transparency too.
Changes definitely not as dramatic as upgrading the power cord last week yet it seems to be worthwhile, as they should last better now.
