low noise discrete opamps

Hi

having spent the night reading stuff about opamp noise figures....

Most designers state their noise figures 0.5nV or 0.9nV and put it down to the input pair transistors. If this is the case is it possible to take a simple discrete opamp design a 'stick' a low noise pair (2SC2547 or 2SC3329BL) for the LTP?

I started a thread yesterday called 'modifying a discrete opamp) which shows a Bryston opamp with a modified input section.
