i've fixed several of these this last month.....
the display supply voltage comes from a voltage multiplier D1001,02,44,45
C1000,1001,02,03
the most common problem i have seen with this receiver is a dim or dead display. inspection shows the caps burst open. replace all of the caps with 220uf/50v/105deg, and the little glass(100mA) diodes with 1N4002's (1A). the glass diodes have a habit of failing and taking the caps with them. D1045 in particular..... usually i find it open, but i suspect it shorts first, taking out the caps, then cooks open.
