First Watt F1 PCB Clone

Hi,

I have made PCB from schematic.
Both Power Supply and Amp Boards are ready.

There is difference in size & components size (resistors / Pot )

e-mail me, for further details, I will mail you pdf or PS Board and AMP board.

F1 Board Prototype tested

hello all..


F1 Board prototype is ready, working fine .

Now that I have a working F1 Amplifier.... Observed the following...
(I did not put Heat sink.)

MOSFET becomes Very very Hot.. (Q3 and Q4 Smokes with out heat sink)
Thick Heat sink with silicon paste and insulation is required.

Quality of sound is very good.. !

Instead of ztx550, BC557 is used.

I am making this for my own use, I dont want to go against copyright etc.

I want to hear from author, owners also.

these are hand made, chemical etched PCB.

Hello

I am waiting to hear from F1 Owners, Nelson pass, Forum Mods.

1 A - waiting to hear from F1 owners (Pass Labs, Nelson Pass), need suggestion, input, blessings.

I would like all of them to know,

1. Boards are not of Business quality, and are not meant for business, commercial.

2. I am offering boards here to cut down PCB making cost for myself, by dividing cost / no of boards.
Max no of boards would be 10 Nos, ( 5 Stereo Sets).

3. Boards will have note, based on design , schematic copyrighted by pass labs.
Pass labs is not liable for quality issues for these boards.

Sorry about copyright issues, but no one told me about it, when I started working on it and posted about my progress etc !!

I was not aware ! this is accidental, I had no intentions !

I have made stickers with your copyright and stuck PCB's

Hi,

After copyright issues, I have modified the board.
Below is modified board.
(Changes made as per Nelson Pass suggestion)

Wider tracks, Vertical MOSFET.

Attaches is Image.

Each F1 Clone Board would Cost $13 ,Plus Shipping and Paypal charges.
(No Minimum Deal)

Wow, now there are apparently THREE places to get F1 boards (2 from India & 1 happening in San Jose) 😀 Short of actually buying an F1 that is.

suds - Nice to see you are working/have worked hard to meet IP requirements (that have been made pretty clear).... Your previous PCBs worked well for me, wish you even better luck w/the new ones.

If imitation was the sincerest form of flattery in this arena, NP would be overwhelmed with it 😉

Correction Completed

Hi,

I have made changes to F1 Amp and PS Boards,
Artwork Layout is shown below.

I request Nelson pass to check if any further changes is required.
I have also added necessary copyright. (Both PCB has DIY)
Hope new layouts does not harm copyright , is can go for Group Buys..

I have got good deal from Manufacturer :

Each stereo Set (two amp boards and one PS Board) at $25 per set, plus shipping and paypal charges.
