I've shipped off 4 sets so far.
I prefer not to sell flat-pak boxes only but 2 of those were -- one person had already bought FF85KeN, and the other was a long term customer.
$110 USD/pr for cabinets only.
I'm temporarily out of drivers, another 20 on the break-in bench. Currently in the queue behind the batch of planet10-hifi EL70eN (i'm behind on them, just getting over a flu)

Have the frugel horn flatpacks materialized? I've looked for them sporadically. but honestly, you're quite the moving target! It's tough to find all the stuff you've done when one's looking for it.
We shipped 15 sets of FH flat-paks. They are in limbo at the moment. A combination of not much access to the CNC, more pressing projects and the FH V2 on the horizon.
Just tooo much to do and too little time.

Are you anticipating any change to the enclosures with the Fountek drivers?
Also, it looks like the sensitivity is a bit lower on the FR88ex. Would my little T-Amp (one of these-link: eBay) be able to drive these alright? The setup would be on a desktop, near-field, small room (10x10), etc.
I'm so new to this. I spent my entire evening reading last night, have changed my mind about drivers/enclosure combinations at least 3 dozen times. Would really like to just order something so I can shut up about it!

These are going to come back... with the Fountek FR88eX, just ordered drivers.

Cool, Interested in what you will have to change to support the new driver.
We figure that we will need a new baffle (with cut-out & rebate for the Fountek, a new holey/driver brace, and a wider vent spacer.

PM or email Dave, or just send money.... anything he sends you in return will be so satisfying that you will have to shut up, until something even more beguiling is presented, only to be immediately sold out, for good reason too!

What little is lost in efficiency is gained in bass extension... near field you will be fine.

Definitely interested in seeing plans for a Fonken-Inspired cab for the FR88EX or FR89EX. When the funds allow it, I'll be ordering some larger drivers from P10 and building a couple DBLHs. For the time being, I need a more affordable project that still sounds great!
After pulling the dual FR88ex down so i could treat them, they have been languishing. So many drivers...

I made a pair based on your pdf, and they're fabulous, but (not surprising) pretty light on the low end. They tend to have a bit of sloppiness at their resonance in the low/mid bass, which the uFonken controls beautifully...

This driver wants more volume than the uFonken has for optimum, at least double.
If you are modifying a uFonken increase the total vent spacer to 66mm. The vents are getting kinda small, and there is quite a bump ~150 Hz. You might want to try some pieces of open cel foam in the vents.
