This amplifier will be part of the six channel active system. It was built with the idea of high headroom. My approach is different from the common practice to use a hi-power amplifier that is listening at low levels. This is an amplifier with relatively low output power. But there is the possibility of high peak power, up to 400W.
It is designed to handle the medium and high frequency range. It is based on the amplifier represented here> http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/vend...-lateral-mosfet-amplifier-32.html#post3315559
Basic parameters:
Inputs: balanced 4 x XLR 1: 1 (Udif = Uout)
Input impedance: 20kohm
Maximum input level:
rms + 21dBu
peak +26 dBu
Gain: 21 dB
Sensitivity:
0dBu - 20W @ 4ohm
+ 4dBu - 50W @ 4ohn
+ 10dBu - 200W @ 4ohm
Rated load: 4ohm
Output: 2 x Speakon (four-pole)
It is still not completely finished. For the moment there are only two working channels.
