I have been reading the considerable interest in Nelson Pass' Aleph se amps. This has made me wonder if anyone know much about the 'Pathos Twin Towers'. I have owned an Aleph3 for a number of years, but many commercial reviewers rate the Pathos superior to the Aleph in imaging and detail, and some have claimed it as neutral as se amps will ever get.

I know the Pathos uses inductors as current sources in the output stage and Andrea Ciuffoli designed a se car amp based on this principle. But the main secret of the Pathos seems more to be in the tubed input stage and I was wondering if anyone knows whether the Pathos uses the new technique of low plate voltage on the tubes as does Generoso Cozzo
