F6 MOSFETs

Any advice an where to buy the MOSFETS for a stereo F6 amp kit, they're out of stock at the DIY Store- I'm a newbie so don't confidently understand exactly the specs that I should sue when looking to buy them from another source .

Any advice on where to buy them, how many to buy and what ratings/tolerances I should request when ordering them is appreciated.

Thanks, are these consistent wherever you buy them- in other words as long as you buy IRFP240 MOSFTs they'll work?

Yes. They do not need to be matched either. In fact they are deliberately unbalanced in the circuit (R1 and R2 are not equal resistance) because it sounds nice.

First of all you must read the build guide , it help a lot to understand the F6

the Vishay mosfet are reliable , so dont worry , they will last years .

if you are confident with electronics DIY , you can buy a bunch of them , say 20 + and match them , it's not required but it doesnt hurt

They are consistent IF you buy from a reliable source!
Do not be tempted to buy from E-bay sellers or China.
This applies even more to the Jfets!

Buy from digikey, mouser, rscomponents, Newark, Farnell, or a trustworthy diyaudio member etc
