Don't know. I suspect that the TL is tuned for the BOFU and a substitute driver would need similar T/S numbers.

I was looking at the frequency response graph printed with the plans. The bass response below 100 hz is pretty close to what I measured in my room with the mike about a yard directly in front of the BOFU. But, this doesn't take into account the contribution of the transmission line. With a 6db BSC circuit in line with the woofer, I get strong bass down to 40 hz in my room. When I first set them up, I was planning to use a bass boost circuit for the bass. Turns out these speakers don't need it.

The betsyK is a good (great) speaker (*commercial interest disclosure), but doesnít have quite the excursion or power handling the bofu does.

Iíve tried the K in a TL designed for the Bofu and wasnít thrilled. The WiBaq is designed for the K.

You might be interested to know that there are two pair of Betsy drivers
going to BAF this year for the raffle. They were sent to me several years
ago by the kind people at Wild Burro, and they are in excellent condition.

I have to wonder what a modern driver like the RSS210HO would do in one of these old school TL boxes...
