They all made it ok so far. Elks are good swimmers. It has happened on some occations in this show, I think its the sixth season now, that an elk turns back if there is a hard to climb ice sheet on the other side. Otherwise they just move on north now when it gets warmer, same paths their ancestors has takens for manyer thousends of years.

Elks, like ZM, eats food from the forest. Now their favvo is fresh pine buds.

Sometimes it gets exciting when they plung though the ice. Can be difficult to get up. Yesterday i saw a raindeer do that, but it had no difficulties at all. They are snow and ice creatures. Very different creatures elks and raindeers. Elks move so slow sometimes I think the picture has frozen. Their ears give it away, parabolic things scanning 360 degrees. They move alone or in small groups. Raindeers move in long lines swiftly crossing all terrain easy as four legged elves.
