Darn, I better hurry up and get that F5 done. I just barely made it on the F4 when the F5 dropped.Nelson Pass said:Yes. The B1 is scheduled beginning of July.

I think that it was Eaton's AIL Division which did the avionics for that particular model (yeah, I know that for a fact.)
Here's the compensated version with the potential for putting trimming resistors on the various source resistors, 150 puffs on the inputs:
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Yes, I can put an extra bit of trace and a pad for the axial resistors -- if you can give me the width of the leads and I will dimension the drill-hole appropriately.
I am not going to do a GB, but I will post the gerbers and a 100% PDF so folks can burn their own boards.

The Mills 5w is 0.17" dia x 0.562" body, 0.032" lead dia.
Mills 5w from PartsConnexion
I didn't compute it but assume a single 5w 100r would be enough(?)

Fredlock:
F5 sounds wonderful. It is an interesting design with no capacitor in the circuit.
In Thailand, we are arranging a group buy. For about one week, there is already a big number of people signed up. Please note that most of these guys are mostly devoted to vacuum tube amps. The post is at http://www.htg2.net/index.php?topic=31809.0
If you think you like to try, please do. I highly recommend it.

Here's a modification -- I put in 2 vias on each resistor lead -- 75 mil diameter, 39 mil drill, spaced 600 mils.

Parallel 100ohms = one 50 ohms. Buy a mills 50ohms. (actually four for two channels)
Of course, but I just wanted to make sure you don't need that much dissapation for some reason not obvious to my tiny brain. Since it is just feedback I doubt it. Likely the 100r 3w are just what Nelson had a lot of so there are two ;-)mithomas said:
