This is a surplus part I came across whilst polishing the bottoms of my shoes...
A Raytheon "Driver Transformer". It's about a 1.5 inch square sealed cube, 6 pins, labeled:
DRIVER TRANS

1-2-3 14V CT
4-5 28V RMS 10MA
(#6 is core ground)
380-240~ WV40
MAX ALT 60,000 FT
RATHEON MFG. CO.
WALTHAM, MASS.
What is it used for??...What can it be used for??
I am confused by the pin #'s.....the primaries are usually #'s 1,2,3......or is this just a simple 28v to 14v ct , with unstandard pin numbering???

It sounds like a single ended to push-pull coupling transformer for a tube circuit. The puzzling aspect is the 380-240~ marking which suggests a frequency range, the ~ being the old symbol for Cycles (Hz in todays language). As such it would not be much use for audio.
