Hi all,

I have a small problem regarding one vintage preamp - Hitachi HCA 7500. Volume pot was broken and replaced by previous owner. Issue is, original was "dual stereo", so 2x250kOhm and 2x50kOhm, and somebody has put inside one 50kOhm. It works as is now, but..

Now, is there solution/option that pots or dact type volume attenuators (something that size) can be combined on same shaft? For instance, how to combine ALPS RK27/RK16 to make quad of my need?
I would exclude anything costing over 50 USD, preamp is not worth it.

Of course, I could by 4P 23-24 position switch and make few hundred soldering points with resistors of needed value, but maybe there is simpler solution?

Thanks!
