I have noticed some confusion regarding surface mount footprints and different pitches for components with the same generic description (MSOPs QFNs are favourites).
So for problem free SMD footprints use the IPC-7351 standard...here is a list and zero orientations for MSD components (stick to rotation A where possible, rotation B is a pain in my view and has been added recently.
