Hi all,

I'd like to produce a frequency response curve and I'm wonderrring what kind of noise to use. I know there are pink noise and white noise. Wich one should I use ?

Also can I perform the test in the middle of my listening room.

Do you have suggestion of an easy software to analyse spectrum ?

Thanks,

There are many possibilities available. A search would have identified many.

Still, Auda's SpeakerWorkshop will allow quasi anechoic measurements using the MLS technique. Worth learning how to use it in the impulse response mode.

It is free and it works and can provide useful information.

I really can't recommend rta and continuous noise type systems. I can make sense out of them and separate speaker from room. Not too sure about others being able to do the same.
