What to expect-converting to DAppolito

Hi all,
I´m invoked in a DIY studio monitor project with my friend.
The idea is to use a driver setup once acquired for the Dynaudio Contour4. 2 x 9.5" bass drivers on top of eachother and a dome mid
and a 28mm tweeter.
However, for practical reasons we have made the box with the bass drivers
on each side of the mid and tweeter forming some DApolito type box.
It looks like the Dynaudio Acoustics M2 but we kept going with Variovents
at the rear like the original Contour4.
X-over is about 900Hz and 4kHz.

My question is what changes in response can we expect due to the different
driver location compared to the original Contour. Any ideas are welcome
so I know approximately what new coils to buy to get the filter right.

Hi,

Main problem with the arrangement is getting mid/treble ear hieght.

The bass / mid crossover should be easier. I can't see any major
differences between the two arrangements, though its possible
the original speaker had different components for each bass unit,
implementing BSC in a 0.5 wayish manner.

:)/sreten.
