I have some 2 way PA speakers that I want to make a jack plate setup for. Right now the speaker is setup with a 1/4" jack for the woofer and a 1/4" jack for the tweeter (bi amp only). I want to be able to switch between bi amp and conventional internal crossover setup using a switch. When the circuit is in Parallel mode I want the two jacks to be Parallel. I’m not sure whether its okay to common the negatives in the circuit to save the hassle of switching them. Take a look at my diagram so far if its a “Big No No” to combine negatives I think it would be good to know before proceeding. The XO is the crossover in the image.
