It is parallel MTM top end with some serious attenuation ( 3R and 4R) in front of the 87dB mids. This is a good thing to control impedance. Raises the question of whether your single mids and tweeters will be loud enough.
Increases complexity but I think you could find some other regular mids like SEAS and do MTM.
There is a closed box design there.
