When bldg a xover, can the inner coil lead touch the top of the coil as it goes out
to its attachment point or should it not touch?
There's lots of vibration and heating, so avoid that. The insulation could get worn away
eventually and cause a shorted coil.

If there's lots of vibration and heating in a crossover coil the installation needs a series review.
