The tweeter is the Seas Excel T25CF001, the mid is the Seas CA18RFX and the bass driver is the seas CA26RFX.

I don't feel that it would be worth it, to me at least. I couldn't justify the increased cost of the speaker vs higher quality amps or room improvements.
As far as the finish goes I had a new idea right after I finished these. You could bond acrylic to the unfinished MDF or plywood for the perfect finish.
