Does any body have experience with this driver? Good, Bad?
ESS 689-1012 10" Cast Frame Woofer Speaker 264-620
The numbers look favorable but I know that may not tell the whole story. It can do about 40hz in a 1.1 cu ft sealed cabinet 90db eff for $139. I was thinking of doing two Dayton RS 225 8 inch drivers but they go down to 55hz in a 1.3 cu ft sealed cabinet. Now I do have a sub so should what do you think?

That's a nice driver for the 2x Dynaudio 17W75. It's 88.0 dB/2.83V/m not 90dB. In a 64.4 L (BR) you don't need the subs no more, F3=27 Hz, F6=19 Hz, F12=14 Hz. Good pick, a perfect driver from my point of view.
Perfect for sealed. VB = 47.0 L/1.66cu ft, QTC = 0.707

Prefer sealed box
Thats true except I prefer the transient response and performance of a sealed enclosure. Although it will go deeper in a BR. Can't get too low with a sealed box
