DIY speakers using Linn active crossovers?

Hi.
I own two Linn Klouts and i want to build two ways speakers using ESS Heil tweeters and EMS B15EX woofers. My Klouts accept Linn active cards but designed for Linn speakers. Is there a way to use Linn active cards or i need to use an external electronic crossover. Crossover frequency need to be 1000hz. Best regards.

Wouldn't it be simpler to sell the Linn Xover bits and either DIY a 2 way xover that gives you the levels, frequency of xover and slopes you want, rather than kludge in something else?

That's was my first idea but it's the advisor from the store where i got the woofers vho said i should go active. Linn 2 way active cards suppose to cut at 2.8khz, far from the 1000hz he recommended.Regards

You can modify some component values to change the crossover frequency. But you need to know what you are doing and have a schematic.
