Midrange 1" driver

Hello all,

I was lookin for a midrange 1" drive with the characteristics of an Electro-Voice 1823M or maybe a second hand or used driver.

You can look for the original Electro-Voice 1823/Electro-Voice 1823M maybe with the help of e-google.
Anyway in new designs, the Selenium D250-X Compression Driver is also an excellent mid driver.

I can agree with Inductor. I use the Selenium D250 as a mid in a 3 way horn system and it does quite well for a driver so cheap. Lower right in the second pic.

i want to use d250x in home environment specifically for music. would you suggest this for home hifi application? if yes what would be the mid freq range that i can expect to cover with this CD?

Drops like a rock above 2500hz on a constant directivity horn (see the data from Selenium).
