Guys
I have Yorkville Unity horns that I want to pull out of the cabinets and use different tweeters with. The current BMS driver doesn't physically attach to the horn, but is instead held in place by a wood structure behind the horn.
Given I want to pull the horn out of the cabinet, how should I best attach a 1" compression driver to it? I was thinking of affixing (maybe some epoxy?) a 1/4" plate of aluminum with a 1" cuttout for the driver and two or three holes for mounting the driver.
Does this make sense? Maybe something like this already exists but my Google searches didn't turn up anything.
Thanks guys.
Jim
