I have a 16 ohm horn I would like to build a highpass filter for.
800hz with 12db roll off.
All the design discussion I have seen never seem to go above 8 ohms?
I have a tube stereo amp (35w per ch) and would like to run one channel to the woofer and one to the horn. It would give me the advantage of being able to set the output transformer according to the ohm load of the speaker (should I get experimental)
Anyway need help with a 16ohm 800hz 12 db high pass filter.
Thanks
PS
I'd buy one if I could find one

Using the online calculator HERE
I came up with a couple values for components for a highpass filter for the 16 ohm driver. Wanted to run this by anyone that had a bit more experience than I do with this type of thing
Linkwitz-Riley type xovr
16 ohm driver
821hz crossover point
C1 = 6.06 µF
L1 = 6.203 mH
I fiddled with the crossover point to get the component values close to some off the shelf values.
Do these values sound reasonable?
