EDIT: I just looked it up. I had no idea dreamonium was real. Careful you don't scratch it.
that's hilarious. i though i made it up!
okay, how about ideallium, then? unobtanium is pretty awesome stuff, obviously. i'm also a fan of indestructium.
Again, each has pluses and minuses that you have to try and control in your design. All materials have some advantage in some situations.
Aluminum, more or less, tend to work well in their working range, but have nasty break-ups outside the working range.
Paper cones, if well designed, can have less of a break up on the high end.
Kevlar are more durable, and a fair compromise, though can be prone to high end break ups too.
I think what you need to do is evaluate specific speakers. It is best to only look at speakers for which you can get a sample frequency response and impedance chart. Though it may not perfectly represent the specific speaker you have, it is a good working guideline for understanding the speaker and how it will fit in your design.
More than anything, budget is likely to narrow down your working choice of speakers.
Just a few thoughts.

Let's not name those neverfindiums, lets talk physical properties:
Do not know proper names but it should have high decay of mechanical oscilations. or be good sound insulator.
