Has anyone seen any mods for the Peerless 810921 HDS tweeter to eliminate the 6.5k dip. Update rumors? Based on listening comparisons with Scan 9800 this is otherwise apparently a great sounding tweeter.

There's no 6.5k dip on mine... just make sure you get a good sample. I think this is the best dome tweeter out there, tied with the Scanspeak 6600.
It's worth using a waveguide with, and crossing really low. It can probably handle 1.2kHz LR4 crossover just fine like this, but I've yet to try it.

Waveguide mods
Peerless must have fixed the 6.5k dip as these measurements don't show it.

FR looks real good with a small waveguide even before reshaping. I'll have to try it with the 6.5" MCM wave guide to see how low it could go.

It's funny the peerless website still shows a measurement with a dip.
