This little driver really has caught my attention. I have searched and found only limited mention of this driver both on diyaudio and the web in general... though Zaph has measured it and seemed fond of it.
Bear in mind two things, I have never designed a loudspeaker, but also it interests me to use this driver nearly full range. - Would a simple notch filter be suitable for taming the top end of this driver's response? - Is 150Hz-20kHz a reasonable bandwidth to run this driver? - For the above bandwidth, I should use a sealed enclosure, correct? I'll leave my questions at that for now - hopefully they are not too idiotic! Hope to see some responses. ![]() |

Wow, 1337 Tang-Bands. They should make good PC gaming speakers.
