Hi, first post here. Found this site in my gathering info stage for building a set of floor standing speakers. At first I thought I would just buy some mids, woofers, and tweeter then pair them with some three-way crossovers in a custom box; i think I'm glad i didnt jump into it as of yet. While my main emphasis is to build a budget friendly speaker, i do in fact want it to sound amazing. These will be paired with some other higher end equipment. When I listen to music I generally only do two fronts in stereo so these new homemade speakers will compliment a 5.1 surround...and maybe be a "fun" speaker if they sound good. I'll post more in the correct sub forum.
