I've got a lepai digital amplifier (lp-2020a+) and using it to build an ATV audiotube. Everything works great until I start the engine and the amplifier turns off. When I stop the engine amp turns back on and have tried it it 2 different cars. Thing is, I need to get this amp to stay on when the engine is running.

Parts Express tech support (where I bought the amps) suggests I install a noise filter. Anybody agree? Before I invest more $$$ wanted to put this out there for any feedback or possibly another solution.

And yes, I am new to this site and am getting into DIY projects for my hobbies. Currently working on building a 12v bluetooth LED lit speakers atv audiotube. Gotta have my tunes when riding and have the cool factor too.

Look forward to reading the many fine posts and getting better at my skills.
