That Neve gain stage looks very nifty indeed, NFB without the resistor noise. Time to get the soldering iron out again I reckon.

Thanks for that. I have a LARGE and broken 12 chan mixer that I've been itching to turn into a valve mixer. That schematic will no doubt be very useful (shame the tone controls are missing). A while back I found the EZTubeMixer by a skilled and intelligent bloke (I wonder who that was...)that I was going rip off/be inspired by.
