Hi!
Is this TPA4411: 80-mW Capless Stereo Headphone Driver good enough to listen music in the sofa, with a good 'scotch' in one hand and a 'Monte Cristo' in another?
And this in my head?
Or must I make an amp with FET?

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

"The TPA4411 is ideal for small portable electronics where size and cost are critical design parameters."
I don't think this is a highquality part. THD of 0.08% for 40mW ?
I think you can do much better with few discrete parts...
And if it's for homeuse only, try a real ClassA. You don't need FETs
for building a headphone amplifier.
How many ohms has your headphone ?
Mike

No, they didn't sent me samples... just a email
Yep, I've read the datasheet and found that this is not good for GOOD HEADPHONES...
I'll go discrete Class A .
Yes, Saturday let get party!!!
I'll get there at 11h30
The day to meet our friends never comes
Cheers
