I am looking to reduce the 4db gain between 1800 and 4500 of my Cambridge SoundWorks Fullranges.
The two sites I was referred to by guys of these forums are :

http://www.lalena.com/audio/calculator/parallelNotch/

AND

http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=19

1) In the lalena there is a variable '"AT" which stands fpr attenuation needed.
BUT The Strange thing is that "AT" HAS NO part to play in the formulae.
It isnt even involved in the calculation of the RCL values.

Read the Link to help on the above page.

2)In the Car Stereo Article,The Middle Frequency is the one at which there is maximum output.
But this article gives a reduction of only 3db and seems to be rather narrow in the frequency range.

I am looking to reduce the area between 1800Hz and 4500 Hz.
The Amplitude between 2000 and 4000Hz is almost constant.

Please guide this N00bie to happydom
