As luck would have it I came across a replacement cone/basket combo for a Harmon Kardon
Citation X driver. It uses the same basket and cone as my Brociner driver. It also says that it is a Lowther replacement therefore made for or licensed by Lowther.
These may have been a cone that Lowther developed for horn loading and sold to
subsidiary companies like HK and Brociner.
