Alpair 7 MS or Pluvia 7.2HD for vocal and pianoforte

Hi which is the best of the two ( P7.2HD or A7MS) for pianoforte and vocals in a sealed box? Thanks

I have no experience with the Pluvia HD but vocals are sublime on my A11MS sealed.

Neither of these drivers have been out long enuff for many people to even try them let alone compare them. I have both, but won’t be able to listen until Noc at the earliest.

Neither of those in a sealed box will be able to reproduce convincingly the lower octaves and harmonics of a piano at forte velocity.

Not many FRs do that well in a sealed box as far as bass extension goes. Can be useful if you are using the FR as a midTweeter.

On theory alone — and having heard the A11ms — i’d suspect the A7ms has the edge in vocals & small details (DDR). But the A7.3 (in A7.3eN guise) is really good and the new Pluvia 7 HD is based on the A7.3.
