I know it's not ideal, but it's the nature of the room that I'm designing for. DIY PA in a former small shop. Here's what we're looking at:
Top View:
Side View:
Red is the PA itself, all horn-loaded, and some notes for coverage.
Yellow is the steel-truss rafters and bulk fluorescent lighting. The front row of lights will just go away; we're thinking about something else on stage anyway.
White is doors and windows.
It's already going to be a challenge to notch-and-fill the horns around the truss to make an unobstructed flat face to project lyrics and videos on, but what about the sound? How bad have I messed it up by having a truss and screen there?
Rectangular mouths in Hornresp:
HiMid and LoMid feed the same horn as the HF compression driver:
Low is the subs on their own:
(each box is 2S by itself, and is meant to be arrayed as 4P2S worth of boxes)
