Dear all,
As I already pre-announced in the Chill-Baffle speaker (L-baffle design) thread...
... I have made a derivate speaker by adding an 15" Neo woofer from PureAudioProject. See:
The Chill-baffle2 speaker page
I hope this page may be useful for somebody... (and I would appreciate feedback)
Best regards,
Fedde

In the meantime, I extended the Chill Baffle 2 with an ESS AMT tweeter:

I chopped off the top part of the baffle and glued this on top so I could mount the AMT. The added AMT driver greatly increased the speed, detail level and cleanness of highs, great stuff! 😛
My current configuration is:
- 18mm MDF open Baffle with assymetric wings.
- Pure Audio Project 15" woofer (used till ~200 Hz).
- Supravox 8" Signature Bicone (used as mid from ~200-1200 Hz).
- ESS big (Heil) AMT (from ~1200 Hz).
- 3x20 uF cap and 2.2 ohm resistor in series with AMT (capacitors parallel naturally).
- Fusion 253 plate amp with reduced gain for better SNR and lower idle noise.
- JL sounds USB to I2S with Ultrabib v1.3 5V supply, SPDIF output to Fusion.
- PC with Winamp, custom output plugin & EQ software.
I use Harsch XO for both crossovers. This reduces phase shift considerably compared to Linkwith-Riley crossovers. I really like the improvement it brings (a more live and engaging sound IMHO).
I am quite happy with achieved sound in this setup...
Still, I am already working on its successor with improved baffle and drivers... more to follow soon...

Hi, I'm interested in this "L-frame" idea, in fact I started a thread recently asking about the polar response. I haven't seen any measurements as yet, would you have any or be able to do some? What improvements are you planning for the baffle?
I want to move to a sort of bottle shaped baffle, rounded and less wide on top for mid driver and AMT. Also I want use better quality MDF or MPX and thicker: 2x18mm. Also I want to mount the drivers closer to each other. Hopefully this will make it easier to measure them... (and improve the stereo imaging further)...
Thanks, it will be interesting to see measurements. How did you decide on the wing depths, did you do any simulations?
I simulated the Chill Baffle2 with Boxsim, by unfolding the Wings (and thus extending the baffle). Probably not fully accurate. The new design I only simulated in Edge yet, front baffle only. I only want to add wings to woofer this time. Maybe a minor ridge for the mid as well if measurements are not flat enough...
Probably not fully accurate, it won't tell you where the nulls are. This is the thread I mentioned and a post showing a ripple tank simulation of something similar to your baffle https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/multi-way/361169-polar-response-frame-ob-speakers-4.html#post6368207
