I'm imagining the size of the diamond on the ring for rising the WAF.
But I was thinking about changing my FH3 for something smaller and my wife will not allow me because of the finish.
My suggestion is: make it beautiful, and ask her how she prefers it. You will not look at it, you will listen!

Aside from the mandatory rearranging of the furniture, a pair of 6'H totem poles will further magnify the associated gear ... audio furniture just doesn't mix well with French provincial antiques. I've tried. Only last so long before I'm being driven to move it all out of there:\

I'd rather not take the thread OT, but none -I haven't heard from Dave for some time and don't like the bother him at present while he's still recovering from his last round of surgery etc. We've gone through 3 versions (my fault) & mostly settled on one, but may take a little while.
Not 'Dr' any more; I've requested the institution withdraw the award after being informed that I must be realistic in my career aspirations, and that a PhD is holding me back when applying for unskilled jobs.
