I will use eminence omega pro 15 drivers in a 250L ported box.
Ive been recommended those drivers.

I would like to build a 1st order series passive crossover.
how high should I bring the 15 inch to mate with the horn?
edit: oups, wrong section. sorry... mods

Well, the HF min. is 1 kHz/2nd order, so -24 dB = 250 Hz, ergo 1st order = 4 kHz XO min., way too high for a 15", though I guess if you smoothed out the woofer's response and let it run 'full-range', then might work OK on axis.

Well, somebody has to say it, if the OP won't
Thanks for the reply, GM...
The Omega Pro 15 has something going on at 300 Hz (not to bad) and again at 1500 Hz (too bad). I assume that the 15" PA drivers is intended for playing loud and doing that with a ribbon with a 6 dB cossover will end with a shredded ribbon. I had that problem with decca DK30 clones crossed over at 5 kHz. Steeper slope solved the problem. Even when playing percussion recorded with no compression what so ever!
