The only problems will arise when driven near max power where
excursion will show the limit. That's why F.A.s.T exists, to overcome that problem - and taking advantage of power behavior ( response) of both drivers
A 1st order crossover or higher slope to meet ( that in reality already exists, it's the mechanical crossover and has a natural decay, e.g. Butterworth) where
the woofer [ has the highest Z peak ]
