Visaton FRS8's in Needles

I'm considering Cyburgs Needles for my first build and I'm intimidated by the notch filter. If I used (what appears to be) the original driver, the visiton FRS8, can I build them without the filter?

(I'm not into this build, no experience) From what is said by posters and Cyburgs, Visaton FRS8 and Aura don't use notch filter.

If you need help with the notch filter, I'll assemble it for you if the shipping cost would be OK with you. I'm in Bismarck, North Dakota, USA (58503). I imagine the parts weigh less than a pound.
