Hello , just another thread on building speaker in steel military can. The only diference from previous ones is the sheere size and amount of drives put into it.
This monstosity is powered by 29,4v, ~6ah, battery pack build of samsung icr 18650 batterrias ( 21pcs in total) and chineseum grade BMS.
The heart of the speaker is breeze audio tas 5613 2.1 amplifier, and CSRA64215 bluetooth module as a input source. Next there are 12 speaker in total Six silk sof dome neodymium tweeters , four, 3,5 ich carbon mid woofers and two 4ich samsung woofers with expetional long throw.Two of carbon woofers and samsung speakers are wired together (parallel, series combination) as a subwoofer channel , rest of the speakers are wired as a right and left channel.There is also external 3 dbi bluetooth anthena ,single on/of iluminated power button and two bass reflex tunnels 55mm at the opening ( they are on the edge of being to small for the set up ).
Under the lid you can find black trerminal that houses all of the switches and nobs for the amplifier and on of switch for usb charger/ voltmeeter combo.
Whole thing measures 37cm in height , 48cm width, 19cm depth and ways in whooping 21KG, due to the whole internall box being meade of high density mdf reinforced with 3mm 20x20 mm aluminium bracket that is both glued and screwd to it. Top of the speaker is made of 2mm thick steel with dampenig material.
Sound wise it's loud, bassy it has really nice highs , lacks the stereo effect due to the cramped speakers but it sure can output some nice tunes .
