A friend emailed me a link to the "tricorder" page today. I must say that the Mk II version is some serious DIY electronics!! the Tricorder project - Science Tricorder Mark 2
The whole concept is pretty cool. I particularly liked the lead in where he talks about looking at the magnetic fields of a transformer using the device.
Anyway thought I'd post it because I'm sure some people here will find it of interest
