Kodak put a bullet in it this morning.

Unlike analog where a couple guys can press vinyl in their basement in Brooklyn, Kodachrome processing was gigantically complex.

What will we do without those magenta hue's of 50+ yr old snaps lovingly projected?

Yeah, I have used Velvia -- but it ain't 25 ASA Kodachrome!

I still refuse to use digital except for ebay, forum use...everything else is done with pentax film cameras.

There is still Ilford for Black and White, agfa for colour - which I preferred to Kodachrome anyway.

Well - I was never a big fan. But al least in the old day ONLY Kodak did the processing. So the results were good. Just drop it in the mail and... No way the local drug store could screw it up!
